Obituaries

Benjamine Randolph Weaver, 82, of Martinsville, VA passed away Sunday, August 6, 2023, at his home. He was born May 13, 1941, to the late Luther Benjamine Weaver and Margaret Louise Stanley Weaver. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Ruth Marie Weaver Barnes, Margaret Joann Weaver Wood, and Jeanette Weaver Rakes; and brothers, Billy Roger Weaver and Roy Scott Weaver.

Mr. Weaver was of the Baptist faith and served in the U.S. Army. He was the owner/operator of a trucking company.

He is survived by his wife, Eva Lavonne Donavant Weaver of the residence; daughter, Dr. Jennifer Bell Jenkins (Dr. Todd Jenkins) of Warner Robins, GA; sons, Brian Randall Weaver (Sandy Weaver), Travis Shane Weaver, David Allen Bell, and Christopher Brian Bell (Ellen Bell) all of Martinsville, VA; grandchildren, Ashlin and Andrew Lazaro, Taylor Jenkins, Skylar Bell, Riley Jenkins, Anastasia Bell, and Jackson Jenkins; great-grandchild, Marley Lazaro; and sister, Linda Weaver Nolen.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at Norris Funeral Services, Martinsville Chapel. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Norris Funeral Services with Steve Tatum officiating.
