Obituaries

Cheryl Jamison, 71, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Monday, November 6, 2023. She was born May 27, 1952, in Martinsville, to the late George Jamison and Mildred Gravely Jamison.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Mendiki Q. Jamison; son, Carlos D. Jamison; sister, Jeanene L. Valentine; and brother, Rodney Price.

Cheryl loved to cook and visit her family. She also enjoyed watching television, and modeling.

She is survived by her sons, John H. Jamison, Mychael A. Hairston, and Abdul K. Jamison; sisters, Teresa B. Jamison and Wanda Jamison; brother, Jerrod Price; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The memorial service will be Friday, November 10, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel.
