Dorothy "Dot" B. White, 87, of Collinsville, VA, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 7, 2023, at her residence. She was born on August 1, 1936, to the late Lilburn Bellamy and Lula Wolfe Bellamy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore White; three brothers, Dennis Bellamy, Scott Bellamy, and Odell Bellamy; and three sisters, Bertha Henderson, Elizabeth Lewis, and Nancy Jones.

Dorothy retired from Tultex after 31 years of service. She then worked as a transportation dispatcher at the Martinsville Senior Center. She was also a member of the Family Worship Center.

Dorothy is survived by her two daughters, Deborah Meanor of Lockport, IL, and Patricia Hunt of Rock Hill, SC; one son, Robert Arden of Collinsville, VA; two grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and a host of several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be Friday, August 11, 2023, at 12:00 PM at the Family Worship Center in Preston, with Pastor Jonathan Goins officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral services at the church. A burial will follow immediately after the service at Roselawn Burial Park.
