Fannie Mae Farris Ramey, 83, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2023. She was born February 19, 1940, in Henry County, Virginia, to the late Samuel Farris and Callie Odessa Simmions.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Frank Ramey; sisters, Carrie B. Kirk and Mary Louise Ramey; and brothers, James Farris, Robert Farris, and Albert L. Farris.

Mrs. Ramey is survived by her brother, Samuel Farris; and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

The funeral will be Monday, July 17, 2023, at 11:30 at Wright Funeral Service Chapel with Minister Shirley O’Neal officiating. Burial will follow at Fair Haven Memorial Park. Visitation will be thirty minutes prior to the service. A floating visitation will be held Sunday, July 16, 2023, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
