Obituaries

Georgie Randolph Jarrett, 89, of Fort Thomas, (formerly of Martinsville, VA and Rainelle, WV) passed away on June 29, 2025, at Carmel Manor Nursing Home in Fort Thomas, KY.

Georgie was born in Richmond, VA to William and Ruth Randolph and grew up in Martinsville, VA.

Georgie graduated from Lynchburg College where she met Dick Jarrett. They were married in 1957 and shortly after moved to Heidelberg, Germany. After living in Germany for two years they returned to Rainelle, West Virginia and started their family. Georgie was active in the Rainelle community and a member of the Rainelle United Methodist Church. At age 55 she returned to her passion of working as a flight attendant for US Airways, having previously flown for American Airlines before she was married.

Georgie's greatest joys were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Georgie was also blessed with many dear friends and loved ones throughout her entire life.

She was preceded in death by her father, William P. Randolph, her mother, Ruth Givens Randolph and Claude Dickinson Jarrett.

Georgie is survived by her son, C.D. (Maria) Jarrett, her daughter, Kathy (Greg) Cole, brothers; Bill Randolph and Dick (Mary Ruffin) Randolph, grandchildren; Ashley (Brady) Dowling, Mackenzie (Jacob) Manning, Christopher (Tomi) Jarrett and Jonathan Jarrett, and great-grandchildren; Jarrett, Lydia, Eloise, Collins and Valen.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
