Luke Everson McGuire, 31, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023. He was born on November 4, 1991, to the late Roger Wayne McGuire and Deloris Lewis McGuire, in Martinsville, Virginia. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy and Viola McGuire.

Luke enjoyed spending time with his family, playing video games, watching movies, and listening to music. He also enjoyed cars, drawing, and pizza.

Luke is survived by his mother, Deloris Lewis McGuire; sisters, Samantha Whitley (Evan), and Bethany Roberston; brother, Jeffrey McGuire; grandparents, Linwood and Lois Lewis; and uncle Kenny McGuire (Martha). He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at 12:00 PM at Bassett Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will be at Henry Memorial Park immediately following the service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
