Patricia Reid Flathmann, 86, of Martinsville, VA passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2023. She was born August 2, 1937, in Detroit, MI, and was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Reid and Olga Panagapko Lovell; her husband, Donald Valentine Flathmann, Sr.; sons, Donald Valentine Flathmann, Jr. and John Christopher Flathmann; and siblings, Catherine Pierce, Ruth Roma, Helen Doris, Vincent Caverly, and Denise Caverly.

She is survived by her daughters, Frankie Smith (Darrell), Donna Marie Taylor (Blake), and Patrice Pinette (Peter); grandsons, Wes Smith, Nate Taylor, and Luke Taylor; brother, Ralph Lovell (Carla); sisters, Lucy Wornson and Gertrude Caverly; brother-in-law, Jules Roma; nieces, Allison DeAngelo, Laura Lupp, Marykaye Carlson, Janice Pierce, Jasmine Pierce, and Rachel Adams; and nephews, Gary Roma, Craig Roma, Jay Roma, and Brian Lovell.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
