Obituaries

Robert “Hunter” Agee, 28, of Collinsville, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at his home. He was born on April 14, 1994, in Martinsville to Robert Alan Agee and Tina Lee Myers Agee. Hunter was preceded in death his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Darlene Meeks (Darol).

In addition to his parents, Hunter is survived by sisters, Brandi Nicole Ragland (Philip) of Claremore, OK and Somer Ramos (Jose¢) of Charlottesville; paternal grandparents, Robert & Rita Agee Patrick County; maternal grandfather, Gerald Wayne Myers (Colleen) of Kitty Hawk, SC; nieces, Ella & Sadie Ragland and Adaline, Sothern & Evelyn Ramos; stepmother, Brittany Agee; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the Bassett Funeral Service Chapel where a funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM with Pastor Kirk Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in the Lee Cemetery in Tuggle’s Gap. The pallbearers will be, José Ramos, Phillip Ragland, Nicholas Cobler, Andrew Dowdy, James Whitlow, Joshua Duncan, Bryan Hubbard, and Mathew Beechler
