Herbal tea maker Traditional Medicinals has begun production at its new 47-million-dollar plant in Franklin County’s Summit View Business Park.
The company says it has hired 19 local residents and plans to create 57 jobs over three years. Its first product made there is Throat Coat tea, which uses slippery elm sourced from across Appalachia.
