Netflix has shared a brand-new interview with the late Eric Dane.
The streaming platform has released Dane’s final interview before his death, which is part of the posthumous interview series Famous Last Words.
Dane died Thursday at age 53, almost 10 months after revealing his ALS diagnosis in April 2025.
According to Netflix, Famous Last Words “gives audiences around the world the opportunity to hear from a cultural icon after they’ve passed away. The intimate, in-depth interviews were recorded with the understanding that they were to be kept secret and only aired posthumously.”
Dane’s episode was filmed last November. He was interviewed by Emmy winner Brad Falchuk.
“Eric and I were the same age when we discussed his life and legacy, so the conversation felt uniquely moving and personal,” Falchuk said in a press release. “There was no self-pity in Eric. He refused to complain. He was brave, soulful, charming, joyful, grateful, and hilarious — and when he flashed that smile, he was undeniably still a leading man. His final words at the end of the episode are truly beautiful. I will miss him.”

The BBC is apologizing to viewers for airing racial slurs heard during the 2026 BAFTAs telecast Sunday.
“Some viewers may have heard strong and offensive language during the BAFTA Film Awards. This arose from involuntary verbal tics associated with Tourette syndrome, and as explained during the ceremony it was not intentional. We apologise that this was not edited out prior to broadcast and it will now be removed from the [online and streaming] version on BBC iPlayer,” a BBC spokesperson said.
Critics say the British broadcaster had time to edit out the slurs before the ceremony was broadcast on a two-hour delay. Other portions of the awards show were edited, including one award presenter saying “Free Palestine.”
During the awards show, often referred to as the “British Oscars,” there were several obscene outbursts from Tourette syndrome activist John Davidson, who was the inspiration for the movie I Swear.
Tourette syndrome, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, is a neurological condition that may cause involuntary movements and vocal tics, sometimes involving outbursts of inappropriate language.
One such outburst occurred while Sinners stars Michael B. Jordan and Delroy Lindo were onstage Sunday night, with Davidson yelling a racial slur as the two actors were presenting the first award of the night.
Jordan and Lindo appeared startled by the incident but continued with their presentation.
Later in the ceremony, BAFTAs host Alan Cumming apologized directly to the audience and asked for their understanding.
“You may have heard some strong and offensive language tonight. Tourette syndrome is a disability, and the tics you’ve heard tonight are involuntary, which means the person who has Tourette syndrome has no control over their language. We apologize if you were offended,” Cumming said.
Davidson left the ceremony partway through the proceedings, reportedly of his own accord, according to the BBC.
I Swear, which was nominated for five awards, won big at this year’s awards show, with star Robert Aramayo winning the leading actor award over category favorite Timothée Chalamet, who was nominated for MartySupreme.

House of the Dragon season 3 officially has a release date.
HBO has announced that the third season of the Game of Thrones prequel series will premiere on June 21. It finds House Targaryen divided as ever, picking up where season 2 left off.
The show’s returning cast includes Matt Smith, Emma D’Arcy, Olivia Cooke, Steve Toussaint, Rhys Ifans, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno, Bethany Antonia, Jefferson Hall, Tom Bennett, Kurt Egyiawan and Freddie Fox.
At the beginning of the trailer we hear Daemon Targaryen (Smith) tell his wife, Rhaenyra Targaryen (D’Arcy), that she is the strongest ruler there has ever been.
“You now have the power no man has ever wielded. You will have an empire unassailable, Rhaenyra. And our children will rule it forever and a day,” Daemon says.
The trailer ends with Rhaenyra making her plans known.
“There will be no doubt who the gods have chosen to rule,” she says, as we see her hold a crown.
House of the Dragon is based on George R. R. Martin’s Fire & Blood. The story is set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, centering on House Targaryen.
In addition to airing on HBO linear, season 3 of the fantasy drama series will be available to stream on HBO Max.
