Jason Segel and Harrison Ford in season 3 of ‘Shrinking.’ (Apple TV)
Jason Segel is back as the grieving therapist Jimmy in season 3 of Shrinking.
Harrison Ford once again co-stars as Jimmy’s colleague Dr. Paul Rhoades in the third season, which premieres Wednesday on Apple TV. Segel told ABC Audio it never gets old acting alongside the legendary performer.
“It’s the honor of a lifetime as an actor and all that,” Segel said. “I’m still three years in, I have moments where I’m pinching myself, like can you believe it?”
But according to Segel, there’s something better than acting with Ford.
“The coolest part though is that he’s my friend, you know? And he gives me great advice and we have real talks and I feel like that’s been the best takeaway of this relationship,” Segel said.
“We have done a couple scenes in season 3 towards the end of the season,” Segel continued, “where I will remember doing them for the rest of my life. That—what a gift that is.”
As for what advice Ford has shared with him, Segel says that he tends to be pretty hard on himself.
“Harrison Ford has been a real voice in my ear of telling me, ‘Hey kid, you’re doing great. I think it’s time for you to tell that other voice to go hit the road,'” Segel said. “And that’s actually been a real relief.”
Segel said this relief comes from things Ford has said, and also “non-verbally too by accident in that the very effect of doing scenes with somebody like Harrison Ford, if you’re a conscious person, you can’t help but realize, ‘Oh my God, it worked out, I’m here doing scenes with Harrison Ford.'” Segel added, “Whatever voice is trying to tell me I could have done better is being overruled by reality.”

Sydney Sweeney is facing criticism after she shared footage of herself throwing bras on the famed Hollywood sign in Los Angeles in a publicity stunt the owner of the iconic sign claims was done without required permission.
The Housemaid actress shared an Instagram video on Monday featuring footage of the moment she laced the iconic sign in bras in the middle of the night. TMZ obtained the video and shared a snippet of the moment earlier that day.
In the Instagram video — which included a tag for Sweeney’s new lingerie line SYRN by Sydney Sweeney — the actress, along with a camera crew, hikes up to the Hollywood sign and scales the side of Mount Lee to reach the iconic letters. She and her crew then unzip duffel bags filled with bras and begin draping them over the letters.
At one point in the video, Sweeney says, “I’m gonna get caught at this rate.”
At the end of the video, Sweeney is seen posing in front of the bra-laced Hollywood sign.
Backlash to the PR stunt was swift, with the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which owns trademark rights for usage of the sign or its likeness for commercial purposes, speaking out against the Euphoria actress’ actions.
The organization told ABC News in a statement Tuesday that Sweeney and her team did not obtain permission for the stunt, saying it was “not authorized by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce nor did we have prior knowledge of it.”
“The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce owns the intellectual property rights to the image of the Hollywood Sign, so that anyone intending to use and/or access the Hollywood Sign for commercial purposes must obtain a license or permission from the Hollywood Chamber to do so,” Hollywood Chamber of Commerce president and CEO Steve Nissen said in the statement.
“The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce did not grant a license or permission of any kind to the production involving Sydney Sweeney as reported by TMZ, nor did anyone seek a license or permission from the Chamber for that production,” Nissen added.
FilmLA has not responded to Good Morning America about whether Sweeney obtained a permit or not ahead of the publicity stunt.
The Los Angeles Police Department told ABC News that as of Tuesday morning, no police report had been filed against Sweeney.
Good Morning America has reached out to Sweeney’s reps for comment.
On Tuesday, Sweeney shared additional details about her lingerie line on social media, saying it will be available on Jan. 28.
Details about Sweeney’s new lingerie line were revealed by Puck News in July 2025. The line is being backed by Coatue, a venture capital company that includes investors such as Jeff Bezos and his wife Lauren Sanchez.

The Blind Side actor Quinton Aaron is hospitalized and fighting for his life but showing “positive” signs, according to his former manager.
The actor, who starred in the Oscar-nominated film about the life of former NFL player Michael Oher, is currently on life support with a blood infection, Martin Luther Wardlaw, president of Ascension Studios and Aaron’s former manager, who is in communication with Aaron’s wife, told ABC News on Monday.
“I can tell you that things are looking more positive today than they were yesterday,” Wardlaw said.
He added, “Some things are under control and other things are not, and we’re just praying and hoping for the best right now.”
TMZ first reported the news of Aaron’s hospitalization, which the outlet said came after the actor lost feeling in his legs while walking up stairs at his home.
Aaron received global recognition for his role as Oher, starring alongside Sandra Bullock, who won an Oscar for her role as Leigh Anne Tuohy, in the 2009 film.
The actor has been open about his health in recent years, sharing photos in October of his 200-pound weight loss journey.
“He was real concerned about staying fit, staying healthy, staying in front of the camera,” Wardlaw said. “I was very proud to see, you know, that he stuck with it, changing diets and doing what it took to lose weight. And I think he’d done an amazing thing.”

Tickets for Charli XCX‘s new film The Moment are apparently a hotter commodity than tickets to her Sweat tour.
The movie, which screens in New York and LA on Jan. 30, has become studio A24’s fastest-selling film in a limited release, with over 50 screenings selling out nationwide, according to the studio.
In addition, a screening that includes a Q&A with Charli and director Aidan Zamiri —which will be livestreamed across Alamo Drafthouse venues — has nearly sold out. In fact, much like concert tickets, tickets for that special screening are now changing hands online in resale marketplaces such as Reddit.
The Moment, which arrives in theaters nationwide on Feb. 6, is a fictionalized version of Charli’s experiences during “Brat summer,” when her Brat album took over the pop culture narrative. In addition to Charli, it features Rosanna Arquette, Kylie Jenner, Alexander Skarsgård, Kate Berlant and Rachel Sennott.

Tyra Banks is pulling back the curtain on America’s Next Top Model.
Netflix released a trailer on Monday for a new docuseries called Reality Check: Inside America’s Next Top Model, which features exclusive interviews with Banks, Jay Alexander, Nigel Barker, Jay Manuel and more about the hit reality competition series.
The trailer features some of the show’s most controversial moments, including a photo shoot where models had to switch ethnicities. There’s also a clip where Banks says, “I knew I went too far.”
Another clip shows Manuel saying, “We were showing the behind-the-scenes of what the fashion world was.”
He adds, “I realized Tyra could do anything for the success of her show.”
More clips from the trailer include interviews with some of the former models: Whitney Thompson (cycle 10, 2008), Dani Evans (cycle 6, 2006) and Giselle Samson (cycle 1, 2003). America’s Next Top Model ran for 24 seasons from 2003 to 2018.
The docuseries, directed by Mor Loushy and Daniel Sivan, “features unprecedented access to former contestants, judges and producers.”
Furthermore, the docuseries will explore “the chaos in front and behind the camera.”
Each week, contestants on America’s Next Top Model would be judged on their appearance, participation in challenges and that week’s photo shoot. One contestant would be eliminated each week.
