Anne Hathaway playfully teased her former co-star Jeremy Strong over what he wore to the 2025 Golden Globes.
The actor, who was nominated for his role as lawyer Roy Cohn in The Apprentice, wore a mint green velvet bucket hat and matching suit to the awards ceremony.
Hathaway, who starred alongside Strong in the film Armageddon Time, took to Instagram to congratulate him on his Golden Globe nomination and poke fun at his outfit.
Along with an image of herself wearing a similar bucket hat while portraying Mia Thermopolis in The Princess Diaries, Hathaway posted a photo of Jeremy in his now-viral look.
“Sweetheart, I’m not mad you borrowed it but I didn’t totally realize you were going to change the col… anyway, not important, congrats on your well deserved nom for The Apprentice!!!” Hathaway captioned her post.
The Golden Globes aired live Sunday on CBS and Paramount+.
Anthony Mackie proved that, above all else, he’s a true stan for his Marvel co-star Sebastian Stan.
The actors, who first appeared on-screen together in the 2014 Marvel Cinematic Universe hit Captain America: The Winter Soldier, reunited after Stan won the Golden Globe on Sunday for best performance by a male actor in A Different Man when Mackie crashed his post-award interview with Entertainment Tonight.
“We won, we won, we won,” Mackie began as he approached Stan and bounced around with a victory dance before borrowing the interviewer’s microphone.
“Captain America, Winter Soldier, we’re comin’ back,” Stan proclaimed with a laugh. “This is my dream and my nightmare all in one.”
“I do have to thank Anthony cause actually back in the day when we were starting these press tours, they said, ‘This kid can’t talk, can’t smile, can’t say anything, we gotta put him with Anthony to get some life in him,'” Stan recalled of their early bonding moments. “Maybe I learned from you — you gotta keep smiling, man.”
That moment quickly racked up over a million likes on TikTok and spurred fans to share photos from backstage of the duo hugging in celebration, flooding the comments with various reactions to the screen partners’ friendship.
Mackie proceeded to pop into several other post-win moments, further showing his unwavering support for his longtime pal.
Earlier in the evening, Mackie also gave Stan a shout-out onstage alongside his Captain America: Brave New World co-star Harrison Ford while presenting the best animated motion picture award.
“We’re still friends with Sebastian Stan, by the way,” Mackie said, looking around and holding up a heart shape with his hands.

People confirmed that the house, for which David Christensen and Sonya Avila of Christensen Group | eXp Realty Luxury and Ryan Johnston of InterPhase Entertainment hold the listing, was on the market. The home has four bedrooms, one bathroom and is 1,910 square feet.
The iconic home has become a tourist destination for fans of the Bryan Cranston– and Aaron Paul-led drama series, which ended in 2013.
Demi Moore‘s daughters couldn’t have been more proud when the veteran actress won her first award for acting during the 2025 Golden Globes Sunday night.
In a video shared on Scout Willis and her sisters’ Instagram pages, she, Tallulah Willis and Rumer Willis erupted in cheers and jumped up and down in excitement when they heard Moore’s name announced.
“SHE DID IT,” Scout Willis wrote in the accompanying caption, along with a bunch of crying emojis. When she reshared the video clip on her Instagram Story, she added, “I was weeping.”
“GO MAMA GO. So so proud of you. Omg I love you so much. So well deserved,” Rumer Willis replied to the post in a comment.
“I love her so f****** much, I have no words,” Tallulah Willis added.

Moore won for best performance by a female actor in a motion picture (musical or comedy) for her starring role as Elisabeth Sparkle in the horror and science fiction film The Substance.

This is The Lion King prequel’s first weekend in the #1 spot; the past two weekends it’s been beaten by Sonic the Hedgehog 3. With the latest totals, Mufasa has now grossed $168.6 million since its Dec. 20 opening.
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 slips to second this weekend with $21.2 million, followed by Nosferatu in third with $13.2 mil, Moana 2 in fourth with $12.39 million and Wicked in fifth with $10.2 mil.

The 82nd Golden Globe Awards aired live Sunday from the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California. Comedian Nikki Glaser hosted the awards show, which honored the best in film and television over the past year. Here are some of the show’s highlights:
Shōgun, The Brutalist, Emilia Pérez win big It was a big night for the FX and Hulu series Shōgun, which won all four of the Golden Globes it was nominated for: best TV series (drama), best performance by a male actor in a TV series (drama) for Hiroyuki Sanada, best performance by a male actor in a supporting role on TV for Tadanobu Asano and best performance by a female actor in a TV series (drama) for Anna Sawai.
The Brutalist picked up three wins, including best motion picture (drama), best director for Brady Corbet and best performance by a male actor in a motion picture for Adrien Brody. In his speech, Brody said the film’s story is similar to his mother’s and his ancestors’. “I owe so much to my mother and my grandparents for their sacrifice, and although I do not know fully how to express all of the challenges that you have faced and experienced, and the many people who have struggled immigrating to this country, I hope that this work stands to lift you up a bit and to give you a voice,” Brody said.
Emilia Pérez came away from the evening with wins for best motion picture (musical or comedy), best performance by a female actor in a supporting role in a motion picture for Zoe Saldaña, best motion picture (non-English language) and best original song. Saldaña celebrated her win, the first of the night and her first-ever Golden Globe, by saying her heart was full of gratitude. “I know this is competition, but all that I have witnessed tonight is us showing up for each other, and it’s just so beautiful,” she said.
Nikki Glaser brings big laughs, roasts The evening’s host, Nikki Glaser, began her monologue by welcoming everyone to “Ozempic’s biggest night.” After mentioning the viral holding space meme from Wicked‘s press tour, Glaser told Zendaya she was incredible in Dune: Part 2, before saying her film Challengers “was more sexually charged than Diddy‘s credit card.” She also made sure to roast Timothée Chalamet‘s facial hair, after telling him he gave a great performance as Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown. “You have the most gorgeous eyelashes on your upper lip,” Glaser said.
Cute couples, family plus-ones hit red carpet Was that Blair Waldorf with Seth Cohen? Yes, yes it was. Nominee Adam Brody brought his wife, Leighton Meester, as his date to the awards ceremony. Timothée Chalamet also brought a famous plus-one — his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, who sat next to him during the live broadcast. Ariana Grande was accompanied by her mother, Joan Grande, as her date for the evening, while GlenPowell brought both his parents, Glen Powell Sr. and Cyndy Powell, whom he posed with on the red carpet.
Demi Moore wins her first Golden Globe The Substance actress Demi Moore won her first Golden Globe for her leading role in the horror film. She gave a powerful speech while accepting the trophy for best performance by a female actor in a motion picture (musical or comedy). “I’ve been doing this a long time, like, over 45 years, and this is the first time I’ve ever won anything as an actor,” Moore said. “Thirty years ago I had a producer tell me that I was a ‘popcorn actress,’ and at that time, I made that mean that this wasn’t something I was allowed to have. That I could do movies that were successful and made a lot of money, but that I couldn’t be acknowledged, and I bought in and I believed that.”
The stars were out in Hollywood Sunday night for the Golden Globe Awards, and they certainly dressed to impress.
Among the night’s best dressed actresses were Zendaya, who wowed in a burnt orange strapless satin gown; Elle Fanning, in a nude gown with leopard accents on the bodice; Demi Moore, in a structured champagne-colored strapless dress; and Ariana Grande, who looked like she’d fit in on Bridgerton in her vintage Givenchy strapless gown.
And it wasn’t just a bunch of gowns on the red carpet. Keri Russell wore a white suit/dress combo, while Kate Winslet and The Bear’sAyo Edebiri wore suits.Melissa McCarthydonned a Barbie-pink jumpsuit with a huge matching cape.
There were also a lot of sequins and sparkle at the Globes, with actresses like Zoe Saldana, Kristen Bell, Felicity Jones, Viola Davis, Mindy Kaling and more shining on the red carpet. Even Timothée Chalamet embraced the trend, wearing a black suit that sparkled, which he paired with a blue tie that he wore like a scarf.
And Emma Stone made quite a statement on the red carpet, not just for her structured red dress, but for debuting a new pixie haircut.
There were also a lot of men making fashion statements, including Jeremy Strong, who certainly stood out in a green velvet suit with matching bucket hat; Eddie Redmayne, who wore a black-and-white checkered suit; Andrew Scott in a baby blue suit; and Colman Domingo, in a black suit with a polka-dot shirt and a checkered scarf/tie.

Film director and screenwriter Jeff Baena, who was married to actress Aubrey Plaza, has died, authorities confirmed. He was 47.
Baena was best known for directing the horror-comedy Life After Beth, the dark comedy Joshy and for co-writing the cult classic I Heart Huckabees with filmmaker David O. Russell.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner confirmed Baena’s death to ABC News.
A representative for Plaza directed ABC News to an article from Deadline on his death.
The 47-year-old was discovered in his home by an assistant, according to law enforcement sources who spoke to ABC News.
The call reporting his death came in around 10:30 p.m. Friday night, the sources said.
The county medical examiner has not officially determined the cause.
Baena and Plaza had been married since 2021 and frequently worked together on projects, with Plaza starring in several of Baena’s films, including Life After Beth, The Little Hours and Spin Me Round.
