U.S. Senator Tim Kaine made a campaign stop in Martinsville on Tuesday having come from Danville and on his way to Rocky Mount.
Kaine thanked a group of about 50 supporters who had gathered at the Ground Floor coffee shop in uptown Martinsville and spoke about his history of supporting economic development in Martinsville and Henry County and recent events including the attempted assassination of President Donald Trump.
Kaine urged everyone to get along and help spread a purpose of unity among Americans, regardless of individual views.
