Andy W. Cunnigham, 92, of Bassett passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022. He was born on March 8, 1930, to the late Andrew Cunnigham and Pearl Howard Cunnigham in Christiansburg, Virginia. In addition to his parents, Andy was preceded in death by his loving wife, Virginia Hylton Cunningham, and 11 brothers and sisters.

Andy was a long time member of Valley Drive Baptist Church. He was also the founding owner of Cunnigham Tires in Bassett, Virginia.

Andy is survived by his children, Becky Motley (Rickey), Sharon Hornsby (John), David Cunnigham (Cindy), Johnny Eller (Wanda); grandchildren, Leslie Brown, Taura Olsen (Isaac), Katelin Motley (B.J.), Gary Dickerson (Lindsey), Sheena Dickerson, Conway Dickerson, Chris Cunnigham, Alexis Henderson (Kyle), Colin Cunnigham, Colby Cunnigham, Stacy Humphrey, and Kim Eller; 13 Great- Grandchildren; 2 sisters, Margie Lucas, Viola Nolen, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12:00PM – 1:00PM on Monday, November 21, 2022, at Valley Drive Baptist Church. The funeral ceremony to follow at 1:00PM with pastor Bobby Rakes officiating. Burial will follow at Henry Memorial Park.
