Beatrice Davis Thomasson, age 90 of Collinsville, Va. passed away on December 7, 2022.

Mrs. Thomasson was born on July 22, 1932 in Franklin County, Va to Thomas Franklin Davis and Nellie Ethelene Fralin Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Lewis Thomasson; four sisters, Vergie Davis, Wilmoth Mays, Flora Neal, and Deanna Hodge; two brothers,Jessie Ray Davis and Lenburg Davis.

She was retired from Dupont. She was a long time member of Fort Trail Baptist Church where she enjoyed doing volunteering when she was able..

Mrs. Thomasson is survived by one son, John Thomas “Tommy” Thomasson; one sister, Shirley Hodges and one brother, James Price Davis; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Fort Trail Baptist Church, 170 Oak Level Road, Stanleytown Va, with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow in Roselawn Burial Park.

The family request in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Fort Trail Baptist Church or to the American Heart Association. The family also requests that no food be brought to the home.
