Obituary For Belinda Carol Williams
Belinda Carol Williams, 60, of Stokesdale, NC passed away on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Cone Health Moses Cone Hospital. She was born on October 3, 1964, in Ocilla, GA to Edward Jowers and the late Alice Lucille Hutto Lott. In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her special fur baby, Sam.
A cherished member of Church Street Baptist Church in Greensboro, NC, Belinda lived her life as a shining example of grace, faith, and unwavering love. She was the heart of the family as a guiding light and nurturer. Though she faced many challenges, she never allowed them to define her. Her life was a testament to perseverance, kindness, and an unshakable faith in God. She fought tirelessly for years against Alpha1-Antitrypsin Lung Deficiency, a genetic disease that ravaged her lungs and liver. Most will never know all she endured, but that’s exactly how she wanted it.
She will be remembered for so much more than her illness, but her heart for God, her unwavering strength, her kindness, and her love for others. Belinda will be remembered for her beautiful spirit, her deep compassion, and the countless ways she gave herself to others. She was a devoted wife, a fiercely loving mother, a doting grandmother, and a loyal friend. Her presence was a source of peace, her laughter a source of joy, and her wisdom a steady guide through life’s storms. The loss of her leaves a space no one else can fill, but her love will carry on through her family.
Her husband of nearly 37 years, cared for her with A devotion that inspired others. Their love was deep and enduring- a true partnership built on faith, respect, and shared joy. They were each other's home.
She is survived by her husband, Scott Williams; daughters, Brittany Stone (Marcus) and Abby Williams; sister, Teresa Sumner (Bill) of Ocilla, GA; brother, Lamar Jowers (Debbie) of Nashville, GA; grandchildren, Lucas and Lily Stone; brother-in-law, Greg Williams (Christina); and her special fur baby Ace.
Memorial service will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Norris Funeral Services with Pastor Ben Burks officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Norris Funeral Services, Martinsville Chapel.
