Obituaries

Charles Anthony Hodge, 64, of Ridgeway, Virginia, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2022. He was born March 12, 1958, in Martinsville, Virginia to Neil Hodge and the late Jean Barrow Hodge.

Charles attended Grace Baptist Church of Ridgeway. He was employed by Hanes Brand. In his free time, he enjoyed playing golf, tennis, traveling, and reading. He loved his grandchildren and had many wonderful friends who will miss him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Angie Harris Hodge; daughters, Susan Hodge Blackman (Doug), Beth Hodge Frace (David), Kimberly Hodge Wheeler (Michael); sisters, Sandy Hodge Davis (Jeremiah), Pam Hodge Ramsey (Billy), Judy Hodge Wachsmann (Otto); brother, Dan Barrow (Tanya); grandchildren, Ava Blackman, Rhett Blackman, Cecelia Frace, Henry Frace, and Clara Wheeler.

The Memorial Service will be Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Grace Baptist Church with Dr. Dennis Wingate officiating. Burial will be private. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service.
