Douglas H. Earles, 90, of Fieldale, Va., died on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Blue Ridge Therapy Connection. He was born February 11, 1932, in Henry County, to the late Fred R. Earles and Berta Howell Earles. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters.

Doug is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Betty Alderman Earles, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A funeral service will be conducted Monday, December 26, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Bassett Funeral Service chapel, with Dr. David Towler presiding. Burial will immediately follow in Topeco Cemetery in Floyd.

The family kindly requests that masks be worn for the funeral service. Additionally, please no food or visitors to the house during this time.
