Obituaries

Eunice Marie Keen, 60, of Henry, Virginia, transitioned to her heavenly home Tuesday, May 6, 2025. Se was born July 13, 1964, in Richlands, Virginia, to the late William Creed Keen and Betty Agnus Deskins Keen.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Rosa Ann Justice, Barbara Sue Keen, and Freda Ruth Coleman.

Eunice was of the Holiness faith and attended Harvest Worship Center. She was known for her joyful spirit and love for music – she was always finding something to sing about. Gifted and talented, Eunice could play the dulcimer, guitar, and banjo, where she brought joy to others through her music. Eunice also enjoyed sewing and took pride in her handiwork. She was strong-willed and spirited, Eunice’s stubbornness was a part of what made her so uniquely memorable and beloved by those who knew her.

She is survived by her sister, Lora Sheff (Richard); brothers, William Charles Keen (Ashley) and Danny David Keen (Lisa); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be held Monday, May 12, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Henry Memorial Park with Pastor David Coleman officiating.
