Freida Anne Wilmoth Norris, 63, of Henry, VA passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at her residence. She was born on December 6, 1961, in Maryland to the late Claude Thomas Wilmoth and Lucy Poplin Wines. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Jim Wilmoth, and her grandson, Braidon Moss.

Freida worked for the Chambers County Sheriff’s Department, in Georgia, as a civil clerk. She loved her family immensely, especially her grandchildren, and would do anything for them; they were her pride and joy. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting, crafting, and rescuing any animals in need of a home.

Mrs. Norris is survived by her husband, Neal Ray Norris; brothers, Don Wilmoth and Tom Wilmoth; daughters, Kaitlyn Hart (Remington Stokes), Melissa Etters (Chad), and Jennifer Moss (Andrew); step-daughter, Elizabeth Norris (Lewis Anderson); step-son, Benjamin Norris (Courtney); grandchildren, Ashton Moss, Hailey Moss, Trevor Cartrette, Kyle Jenkins, Logan Brown, Kristin Etters, Austin Etters, and Roman Stokes; great-grandchildren, Aiden Etters and Ella Etters; step-grandchildren, Cecilia Norris, and Ezra Norris.
