Obituaries

Georgie Anna Hicks Hall, 80, of Ridgeway, passed away Monday, December 18, 2023, at her residence. She was born September 13, 1943 in Virginia, to the late George Ford Hicks and Nannie Mabe Hicks.

She was a member of Stanleytown’s Amazing Grace Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She loved to make chocolate, and enjoyed visiting Tennessee and Myrtle Beach. She had been employed by K-Mart for 20 years.

Georgie is survived by her husband, James “Jim” Henry Hall; son, Darrell Hall (Shi); brother, Drewry Hicks; grandchildren, Chelsey Hall, Zachary Hall (Kayla), and Camron Hall; and great-grandchildren, Brantley Hall, Julani Orrell and Damien Hall.

The Graveside Service will be Friday, December 22, 2023 at 12:00 PM, at Mountain View Cemetery, 711 Church Street, Ridgeway, Virginia.
