James Everette Keatts, 63, of Axton, VA passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. He was born to the late Frank Keatts, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Epperly Keatts. In addition to his family, he is predeceased by son, James David Keatts; grandparents, F.E. Keatts (Emma) and Garland Epperly (Helen) and brother-in-law, Barry Robertson, Sr.

He was a retired Union Boilermaker out of Local 45. Everette loved to fish, hunt, and spend time with his grandchildren.

He was a member of Sugartree Primitive Baptist Church in Axton, VA.

Everette is survived by son, Chad Keatts (Kayla); daughter, Jamie Keatts; mother of his children, Sandra Keatts; sister, Patricia Robertson; brothers, Frank Keatts, Jr. (Sandra) and Garland Keatts (Cindy); grandchildren, Chad Keatts, Jr., Sadie Keatts, and Cameron Hairfield.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at Norris Funeral Services. Graveside will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 5, 2025, at Keatt's Family Cemetery, 188 F E Keatts Ln., Axton, VA 24054 with Pastor Jamie Hancock officiating.

Norris Funeral Services Martinsville Chapel will be handling the arrangements for the Keatts family.
