James Hylton Niblett, Jr., 76, of Martinsville, Virginia, passed away January 5, 2024. He was born October 7, 1947, in Henry County, Virginia, to the late James H. Niblett and Etta Brown Niblett.

James was a dedicated employee of Bassett Walker for 40 years, in his free time he loved playing golf, and bowling.

He is survived by his daughters, Toi Brooks Crane; sons, Timothy Niblett, and James Niblett; sisters, Carolyn Fuller (Maurice), and Rosetta Davis; brother, Donald Lee Niblett (Robin); and six grandchildren.

The Graveside service will be January 13, 2024, at 9:00 AM at Carver Memorial Gardens with Bishop J.C. Richardson officiating. A floating visitation will be January 12, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel.
