Lillie Wade, 93, of Irisburg Rd, Axton, VA, departed this life Monday, December 12, 2022, at SOVAH health Martinsville. Born in Virginia, on June 26, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Harry Davis and the late Margaret Maggie Davis.

In addition to her parents, Lillie was preceded in death by her husband Robert Wade.

Lillie was a faithful member of Moral Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include, her caregivers Robert Perkins and Marie Perkins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

A visitation service will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at 10:30 a.m. until the time of her service at 11:00 a.m. at the C.R.V. Memorial Chapel at Hairston Funeral Home with Evangelist Marie Perkins, Eulogist. The burial will follow at Carver Memorial Gardens. A public viewing will be held Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at Hairston Funeral Home from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. In accordance with the CDC, a face covering, and social distancing is required. The family will be receiving friends at the home of her niece and nephew, Robert & Marie Perkins, 1009 Whispering Pines Rd, Axton, VA.
