Obituaries

Linda Gayle Earles, 74, of Martinsville, VA passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023 at her home. She was born June 9, 1949 to the late Fred Douglas Earles and Beatrice Kelley Earles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Scott William Bates.

She is survived by her daughter, Tracy Bates Pickurel (Allen); grandchildren, Kelley Ann Pickurel and Cory Allen Pickurel; sister, Thelma Earles Rigney; and her beloved dog, Gidget.

Linda was a member of Valley Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church and was a home health nurse.

The memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Norris Funeral Services, Martinsville Chapel with Pastor Jody Pollard officiating.
