Manker Dumont Stone, 67, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2025, at his residence. He was born on December 28, 1957, in Martinsville, Virginia, to the late Ellis Stone and Cora Lee Dodson Stone. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant brother, Joey Stone.

He is survived by two children, William Tanner Stone and Abigail Rose Stone, one sister, Piper Lee Stone; niece LeeAnna Danielle Cassell; long term significant other, Karen Stout; and his beloved dog, Riley Jean
