Marcus “Shawn” Mashawn Walker, 41, of Collinsville, passed away on December 15, 2023. He was born August 26, 1982, in Martinsville, to Augusta Marie Walker Piggott and the late Howard Williams.

Marcus attended Refuge Temple Holiness Church and enjoyed watching television. He was a great organizer.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his stepfather, Fritz Piggott; sisters, Ruth Shanette Walker and Poochie Williams; brother, Ricky Williams; nephew, Samuel Walker; four aunts; two uncles; and a host of cousins.

The memorial service will be Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at 3:00 PM, at Refuge Temple Holiness Church, 205 Clearview Drive, Martinsville, with Minister Alan Preston officiating. Visitation will be thirty minutes prior to the service.
