Minnie Alice Turner Hylton, 90, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023. She lived her first 86 years in Henry County and her last 4 in the care of her grandson, James (J.D.) and Renee Hall in LaGrange, GA.

She was preceded in death by her husband Irvin Odellis Hylton. Minnie is survived by 5 children (spouses), Roger (Frances) Hylton, Ronnie (Brenda) Hylton, Mike (Rhonda) Hylton, Darlene Shelton, and Jimmy (Joie) Hylton; 18 grandchildren, Jesse, Dawn, Craig, Brandy, Eric, Rod, Krissy, Amanda, Michael Paul, Sam, John, Ilene, Ruth, Bryan, Chris, J.D., Robbie, and Tonya. 32 great-grandchildren, Maddox, Dalton, Jonah, Amelia, Logan, Kaitlyn, Darius, Izaiah, Daleen, Gabriel, Cheyenne, Lexie, Leanna, Josh, Kirstein, Megan, R.J., Gage, Gracie, Hannah, Jasmine, Seth, Kaidence, Heidi, Nate, Quinn, Joey, Kennedy, Kameron, Molly, Marie, and Izzy; 9 great-great-grandchildren, Kooper, J.B., Sawyer, Leeland, Braylon, Jaxon, Dakota, Amelia, and Kassius; sister (spouse), Kitty Dillon (Richard); and special friend of 80 years, Mary Craig.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Norris Funeral Services, Martinsville, VA. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Ridgeway, VA.
