Sandra “Sandy” Gibbs O’Dell, 63, of Collinsville went home to be with the lord on Thursday, December 28th, 2023. She was born on November 11th, 1960 in Martinsville, Virginia to Thomas Gibbs and Polly Gibbs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth Ann Gibbs McElroy.

She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Collinsville. Sandy enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and her work family. She enjoyed Zumba, Nala her golden retriever, and making memories with her new precious granddaughter.

She is survived by her son, Matthew O’Dell and wife Lynsey, grandchild Sutton O’Dell, and nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 4th, 2024 at noon at Collins-McKee-Stone Funeral Home, Martinsville Chapel with Pastor Larry Cheek officiating. Interment will be held at Roselawn Burial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 3rd from 6-8pm at Collins-McKee-Stone Funeral Home, Martinsville Chapel.
