Serjio Mendoza–Ramirez, 14, of Martinsville, Virginia passed away Friday, November 24, 2023. He was born May 25, 2009, in Covington, Tennessee to Florina Ramirez-Rodriguez and Inocente Mendoza.

Serjio was a member of Community Fellowship Hispanic Ministry and a student at Bassett High School. He enjoyed playing video games – especially Roblox. He also loved to watch anime, especially the show Jo – Jo Bizarre Adventures. He loved spending time with his family and loved wrestling with his brothers.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Kasandra Chavez- Ramirez; brothers, Michael Mendoza-Ramirez, Baldemar Mendoza-Ramirez, Visente Mendoza-Ramirez, Oliver Rodriguez.

The funeral will be Thursday, November 30, 2023, at 3:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service with Michael Harrison officiating. Burial will follow at Fair Haven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Serjio Mendoza-Ramirez, de 14 años, de Martinsville, Virginia, falleció el Viernes 24 de Noviembre de 2023. Nació el 25 de Mayo del 2009 en Covington, Tennessee. Hijo de Florina Ramirez-Rodriguez y Inocente Mendoza.

Serjio era miembro del Ministerio Hispano del Community Fellowship y estudiante de Bassett High School. Le gustaba jugar videojuegos, especialmente Roblox. También le encantaba ver Anime, en especial el programa Jo-Jo Bizarre Adventures. Le gustaba pasar tiempo con su familia y le encantaba jugar a las luchas con sus hermanos.

Además de sus padres, le sobreviven su hermana, Kasandra Chávez - Ramírez; hermanos, Michael Mendoza-Ramírez, Baldemar Mendoza-Ramírez, Visente Mendoza Ramírez, y Oliver Rodríguez.

El funeral será el Jueves 30 de Noviembre del 2023 a las 3:00 p.m. en Wright Funeral Service con Michael Harrison oficiando. Seguirá el entierro en Fair Haven Memorial Park. El velorio se llevará a cabo una hora antes del servicio.
