Wanda Catron Fackler Mize, 61, of Bassett, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at her residence. She was born August 14, 1962, in Martinsville, Virginia, to the late Joe Mike Catron and Dorthy Armstrong Catron Dillion.

She was of the Christian faith attending Tabernacle Baptist Church in Bassett, Virginia. She loved caring for her grandchildren, family, and friends. She also loved to travel with her family to various locations, spending time with them on vacation. Wanda was a very joyful person.

Wanda is survived by her daughter, Amada Fackler; son, David Fackler; sister, Della Belton; brothers, Mike Catron (Janice), and David Catron (Sarah); grandchildren, Cloe Fackler, Isabella Fackler, and Azrael Fackler; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be Friday, January 5, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Wright Funeral Service Chapel, 1425 Greensboro Road, Martinsville.
