Wayne Cooper Craig, age 84 of Patrick Springs, VA passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2024.

Wayne was born on July 10, 1939 in Patrick County, VA to the late Flem Craig and the late Queenie Hancock Craig. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four sisters, Lera Washburn, Vivian Ratliff, Hazel Wright, Viola Voorhees and one brother, Rev. Neil Craig. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He owned and operated Wayne’s Garage. He loved boating and fishing. He was of the Baptist faith.

Wayne is survived by two daughters, Denise Clark (Kevin), Angela Craig, one son, Michael Craig, two grandsons, Brandon Martin (Roxanna), Shane Martin, one great granddaughter, Harmony Martin and one brother, Clarence Craig (Evelyn).

A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Collins Funeral Home, 30 Riverside Hwy, Bassett, VA from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at 12:00 PM with Reverend Joey McNeill officiating. Interment will be in the Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery, 4432 Pleasant View Drive, Patrick Springs, VA.

At other times the family will be at Wayne's residence.
