From the Henry County Sheriff’s Office:
On May 16, 2025, the Henry County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team, Investigators, and Drug Interdiction Unit executed a search warrant at the Travel Inn, located at 4520 Greensboro Road, Ridgeway, Virginia.
During the investigation, suspected methamphetamine and heroin were seized. The suspect, Danielle Renee Chappel, 24 years old, was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine. She is currently being held at the Henry County Adult Detention Center without bond.
This matter remains under investigation, and additional charges are anticipated as the investigation continues.
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office remains committed to removing drug dealers and illegal narcotics from our community. The Crimestoppers Program offers rewards of up to $2500.00 for information related to crime. The nature of the crime and the substance of the information determine the amount of reward paid.
