Obituaries

Billy Ray Ayers, Jr., 58, of Danville Virginia, passed away Friday, January 3, 2024. He was born August 8, 1966, in Martinsville, Virginia, to the late Patsy Ann Wells Ayers and Billy Ray Ayers, Sr.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Angela Marie Ayers; and his dog, Bogie.

Billy served his country in the United States Navy. He loved muscle cars and riding his motorcycle back in the day. Billy loved animals, especially Bogie, and they are now playing in Heaven together. Billy loved the beach.

He is survived by his sister, Kimberly Melissa Ayers; half-sister, Amanda Villacres; stepmother, Loretta Ayers; and lifelong friend, Alan Ackerman.

All services will be private.
