Obituaries

Phyllis Ann Walker, 71, of Ridgeway, Virginia passed away Saturday, December 14, 2024, at UNC Rockingham Hospital. She was born August 21, 1953, in Franklin, Ohio to the late Phyllip Buyers and Eleanor Clyde Brown.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chauncey Bradley; daughter, Tanikia Nicole Walker; sister, Olivia Laura Oates; and brother, Carl Brown.

Phyllis was a member of Fuller Memorial Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing games on her I pad, cooking, watching television; especially westerns and crime shows. She loved her dog Cisco.

She is survived by her daughter, Teayetta Bivens (Derek); son, Shonton Walker; brother, Robert Brown (Teresa); eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at 4:30 PM, at Fuller Memorial Baptist Church with Pastor Fred Hardin officiating.
