An Axton man was denied bond on charges of killing his son and daughter-in-law. William Lester Roberts, 65, is charged with shooting to death William Jason Roberts, 41, and Ashley Marie Roberts, 39, of Roanoke on June 25 at 471 River Ridge Road in Axton. Roberts was charged with two counts of second-degree murder and additional charges. He scheduled to be back in court on Aug. 29.
